This winter transfer window proves to be a time of feverish rumour and potential major moves. Several notable footballers find themselves linked with moves out of their present teams. Here is a look at some of the key figures who could be on the move this month.

A. Semenyo

Despite the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, this has left the player available, indications are a significant move is imminent. The 25-year-old has a contract featuring a substantial release clause applicable for a two-week window at the start of the month. Latest reports suggest the Premier League champions look to have won the race for his signature. Other suitors like Chelsea and Tottenham are said to have turned their attention to other options, leaving teams like Liverpool or Manchester United to make a last-minute move.

M. Guéhi

The England centre-back has continued to excel for Crystal Palace despite a previous move to Anfield collapsing. As his deal due to expire in the close season, this represents the London club's final chance to obtain a fee for their skipper. Numerous elite clubs, including Manchester City and multiple European giants like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, reportedly hold an interest. However, a winter exit is considered difficult, particularly given the manager's dependence on the player.
